Once again, I am participating in the HITH TOUR at Toni Perrin Studio in Carefree. I showcase my larger work in the surrounding scenic desertscape and my smaller works in a sweetly set-up sculpture garden. Visit STUDIO #10 – host to talented professional artists who create exceptional work in major mediums: acrylic, oil, watercolor, woodworking, stone sculpture and jewelry. Open: Nov. 17-18-19 & 24-25-26.
I am one of only two sculptures working in stone that you will find at the Sacramento Arts Festival. I create sculptures using the techniques of, and in the style of the Shona Sculpture Movement of Zimbabwe, Africa. I import stones from that locale – serpentine, springstone, opal, lepidolite, verdite to name a few. The Festival is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm.
The originality and quality of my work has met the strict jury qualification policy of the Sacramento Arts Festival. Gedion Galleries will be in Booth 618 at the Sacramento Convention Center this coming weekend, November 3-4-5. Get $1 off your ticket price at http://www.sacartsfest.com/printcoupon.html
You can believe me when I say that my 100% hand-carved and polished stone sculptures are "beings" that evoke positive feelings of shared interest and investment in life, love, family and community and I share with you one of my newest works: “The Feeling of Freedom”.
Open 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday (21) & Sunday (22), GEDION GALLERIES’ PRIME LOCATION #185 is located in the middle of Santa Monica Boulevard
right next to the entrance of the lounging/eating area. LA’s famous food trucks will provide sustenance. Live entertainment will provide ambiance. Demonstrating artists will show you how art becomes art. Convenient, inexpensive parking is located directly across from the show grounds.
Fall by the fall Beverly Hills artSHOW this coming weekend – open 10 am – 5 pm in the beautiful Beverly Gardens Park. Now in its 45th year, this highly anticipated artSHOW features artists from Los Angeles, the Southwest (that would be me at GEDION GALLERIES in BOOTH #185) and around the country, drawing patrons, collectors and art enthusiasts who will make take advantage of this time to connect and acquire original works directly from the artists.
Did not make it to the Arboretum Art Festival, but I am still "on the journey" and plan on being in California at the Beverly Hills artSHOW in beautiful Beverly Hills Garden Park on October 21 & 22.
Beautiful Barrington, an affluent suburb of Chicago, is the site for the Arboretum Art Festival. Admur Productions tells it like it is: Only the best of the best was chosen for the Arboretum of South Barrington Art Festival. Artists juried into this inaugural event are considered to be at the top of their game. Gedion Galleries will be waiting for you in Booth #38.
Only two more days of ART SAN DIEGO. Visit Gedion Galleries in Booth #135 where I will help you select the perfect piece for your home or office. My sculptures are carved and polished by hand in stone that I import from my homeland of Zimbabwe - serpentine, springstone, opal, lepidolite, verdite to name a few. Following the traditional Shona style movement, these stones hold special meanings of traditional values of positive and peaceful emotions.

This Labor Day, visit Booth #629 to get a real feel for my sculptures which are truly a labor of love. Carved and polished by hand, these stones hold special meanings of positive and peaceful emotions.
Strong winds in Sausalito last night damaged several Festival booths and artists are gathering to help each other make ready for the day. FORTUNATELY, stone sculptures stay grounded and all is well in my Booth #629. Today's forecast shows only a few stray gusts. We’re here with our artwork – our labors of love – to inspire you. Come today and support artists and the arts!
